Kingdom Hearts: Rebirthing
Sora and Riku had defeated Xemnas and managed to return to their home of Destiny Islands. However with the system overload of the machine that dissipated Kingdom Heart’s power had disastrous side effects. All of those who were destroyed by a Heartless, Nobody or from the power of the keyblade were reanimated and brought back to life, this meant that all of Organization XIII were back. However all of the reanimated had no memory of what had happened, they went on living normal lives very similar to the one Roxas temporarily lived in Twilight town. Sora, Riku and Kairi had no knowledge of what had happened until two years later when Sora and Riku were attacked by a group of nobodies, confused they defeated the foes they had thought were long defeated.
After merging with Sora, Roxas was flung into the pits of his mind, very similar to the virtual world of Twilight town, only without the complications. He believed this was to do with Twilight Town being the one place he was truly happy, of course however merging with Sora technically ‘killed’ Roxas and with the machine’s side-effects he was brought back to life in his own body along with his old friends, Naminé, Axel and Xion. These three who lost most of their memories continued a normal human friendship on the Destiny Islands.
The two groups were living so close together yet so far apart, The nobodies and heartless continued attacking Sora and co not knowing that Organization XIII members were also alive therefore not realising Roxas and co also lived. However one day after a day resting with his friends Roxas bumped into Sora, after coming into contact Roxas had all of his memories returned to him, as did the memories of all nobodies and heartless alike. Now filled with their memories the remaining 11 members of Organization XIII regrouped to each other and set up base again in the world that never was in the hopes of once again taking control of Kingdom Hearts and becoming whole.
However their was a new twist to this tale. With the overload of Kingdom Hearts many others gained abilities similar to those of Keyblade Wielders, they could unlock the gates and lock them again like Sora, Roxas, Xion and Riku. These people will eventually choose to fight for Organization XIII or band with the others to stop them…
So now you set of on your quest, your mind filled with all of your memories and what you should do, all quest towards Kingdom Hearts in the hopes of finally defeating Organization XII…
